How Our Puppy Waitlist Works
Cost, Timeline & What to Expect
At Bev’s Mini Doodles, we know how exciting it is to decide that the time is right to welcome a new puppy into your family. Our waitlist is designed to make the process simple, personal, and transparent from the beginning.
We specialize in beautiful Micro & Mini Goldendoodles raised in our home in Burlington, Ontario. Our goal isn’t simply to find homes for our puppies—it’s to make thoughtful matches between each puppy and the family who will love them for a lifetime.
Step 1: Contact Us
The first step is to reach out and tell us a little about yourself, your family, your lifestyle, and what you are hoping for in a puppy.

Male or female preference

Expected timing
We’re always happy to answer questions before you make a commitment.
Step 2: Join Our Waitlist
Once we have spoken and you feel that Bev’s Mini Doodles is the right breeder for your family, you can reserve a position on an upcoming litter.
Waitlist/Reservation Deposit:
There is a $500 deposit which secures your place on the waitlist and is also applied towards the final purchase price of your puppy. First deposit receives first pick of the litter.
Our puppies are generally priced between $2,000 and $3,500, depending on the litter, size, coat characteristics, and colour. Final pricing will always be discussed with you clearly before you reserve your puppy.
Step 3: Pregnancy & Litter Updates
Because breeding involves Mother Nature, anticipated dates are always estimates. Heat cycles, ovulation, successful breeding, pregnancy and litter size can all affect the timing of a planned litter.
Once pregnancy is confirmed, families on our waitlist will receive updates as we get closer to the puppies’ arrival.
And, of course, once the puppies are born, the fun really begins!
We love sharing photographs, milestones and updates so our future puppy families can follow their little ones as they grow.
Step 4: Puppy Selection
As the puppies mature, their individual personalities begin to emerge.
We believe puppy selection should consider much more than colour. Temperament, energy level, confidence, affection and your family’s lifestyle are all important.
We will help guide you through the selection process so that you can choose a puppy who is a wonderful fit for your home.
Step 5: Preparing for Go-Home Day
Our puppies remain with us until they are developmentally ready to leave for their new homes.
Before going home, puppies receive age-appropriate care, including their first vaccinations, deworming and veterinary health assessment according to our program.
Your puppy will also go home with information to help make the transition as smooth as possible.
We ask new families to arrange an examination with their own licensed veterinarian within three days of receiving their puppy.
When Is the Remaining Balance Due?
The remaining balance for your puppy is due according to the terms provided in your puppy purchase agreement.
We make all payment dates and expectations clear in advance so there are no surprises.
What Happens if the Timing Doesn’t Work for Our Family?
We understand that life happens.
If an upcoming litter or go-home date is not suitable, please speak with us as early as possible. Any transfer of a waitlist position or deposit will be handled according to the terms of your reservation agreement.
How Long Will We Wait?
Wait times vary depending on:
Upcoming breeding schedules
Litter size
Your preferred size or sex
Coat and colour preferences
Your position on the waitlist
Families who are flexible about colour and sex may have more opportunities to find their perfect puppy sooner.
We would rather make the right match than rush the process.
